Hello, I’m Holly, a UK-based content writer, editor and copywriter with over 7 years’ experience of being paid to write. Though actually, I’ve been writing for well over a decade.

With a BSc in Psychology, I know how to tap into audiences and specialise in B2C and DTC copy. And my background in teaching means I’m jolly good at distilling complicated topics into digestible information – particularly for a disengaged or reluctant audience!

I’ve created long-form content, web copy and marketing copy for brands in-house and within agencies, seamlessly switching between brand guidelines and tones of voice.

My writing has spanned topics as diverse as hospice, energy, women’s health, sexual wellness, luxury lifestyle products and education. I’ve:

  • Designed, planned, implemented and tracked content campaigns
  • Been a guardian of brands’ tones of voice
  • Mapped copy packs, core brand messaging decks and built editorial systems
  • Mentored and managed junior writers – and had fun doing it

I also have plenty of experience writing copy for any touchpoint, including social media, web copy, advertising, press and print materials, and video descriptions.

My skillset primarily includes long-form content writing, such as articles, blogs, and email campaigns. I lean into AI only when the role and my editor require it. For research and idea sparking? It’s great. For writing swathes of identikit-AI drivel? No thanks.
